Terroir is the French word used to describe the “place” of a wine.  Characteristics include black cherries and currants, vanilla, toast, caramel, spice, earthiness, (add your descriptor here).  This wine has a balanced palate structure with firm, lingering tannins.  Our Case Club members made the blending decisions on this wine. This wine reflects the terroir that gives Windham reds their unique flavor and style.
